I have had countless ups and downs during my long career as composer, worldwide touring musician and business leader. Challenges finding the balance between my intensive career and being a father for my two, now already grown up sons. How have I managed to do it for decades already?
The answer is simple: by asking for help. I've gone through different therapies over the years but the most significant change for me has been working with a coach. Working on my psychology, physiology, focus, priorities, mental stamina. Studying meditation, neurology and philosophy. Coaching and my studies have significantly helped me to improve the quality of my life, in all meanings. And now, after collecting myself a box of great tools to navigate through the unknown and always turbulent creative processes, I've come to the point where I feel the passion to help others finding their own path, to get courage and strength to follow it and live the life with joy and fulfillment.

Who is Eicca?
I am a musician, composer, producer and business leader, born as the second oldest child into a family of five kids, in the year 1975 in Finland. I started to play cello at age of 9 at a local music school and continued my studies at the Sibelius-Academy, the University of Music in Helsinki, Finland.
During my studies and work in classical orchestras in 1993 I formed the band Apocalyptica, originally a group of classical cellists playing metal music for our own fun. Since our debut album, released 1996, we have been touring around the world for about 2000 concerts in over 50 countries. Apocalyptica has released 9 studio albums which has sold about 6 million copies worldwide and the band is still fully active in studio and on the road.
Besides Apocalyptica, I have composed and produced music for theater, stage productions, games, television, movies and even an opera. I've collaborated with the world's top song writers, musicians, producers and engineers. Whilst being a manager and booking agent, running my own label and being signed to all major record labels, I have seen all sides of the music and entertainment industry during almost three decades. I started my first company in 2000 and nowadays I'm running several international companies with different business models. As an advisor I've been serving and helping different associations, corporations, politicians, entrepreneurs and artists.
But after all, I am a human being in motion with the world. Growing, socializing, adapting and learning. The most important thing for me is to be a father for two fine young gentlemen, Eelis (born 1998) and Ilmari (born 2001). I love to spend time in the nature, hang out with family and friends and meet new people, study and learn new things. To do my best to live active and vibrant life. And of course, work on my own self-development. As that is something that never ends and never gets boring.
That's shortly about me but I want to remind you that coaching, in the final end, is not about me, it's all about YOU.
